Colourist for Comic Book Series and Animated Shorts
I first met Hinda in 2019 when she approached me to be the colourist for an animated short based on her comic book series “Bayla”. Shortly afterwards she ask me if I wanted to do the colour work for her next comic “Bayla’s Got Wrinkles” and eventually the last three comics in the series as well. I quickly fell in love with the quirky Bayla and her drama, its hard not to. Hinda has a cleverly wicked sense of humour that really comes through in her writing and character development. It was a real treat to be able to work with her on these projects and I’m really hoping that she comes out with another comic soon, everyone could use a little Hinda and Bayla in their life.
In addition to working with Hinda as her Colourist I also had the honour of designing Hinda’s website for her to showcase her extensive body of work in the visual arts along with the book design for her comic book anthology “Bayla’s Got Issues”. Her comics, anthology, animations and paintings can all be found on her website.
